Ask for animation in plain language and Prism writes real After Effects keyframes at real frames with editable easing, anticipation, and overshoot — all undoable.
Ask for motion the way you'd brief a junior animator — "ease this title up and let it settle" — and Prism writes the actual keyframes. Not a render, not a baked clip: real Position, Scale, Rotation, and Opacity keyframes on your layers, at real frames, with easing you can open in the graph editor and tweak by hand. The AI reads your live composition first, plans the timing, then writes native After Effects objects — the same ones you'd create yourself.
How a request becomes keyframes
The AI reads the true state of your active comp — which layers exist, their current Transform values, any existing keyframes and markers — then reasons about timing and easing, then writes editable keyframes back onto the layers. That read → reason → write loop is the core of how Prism works.
Because Prism reads the real composition rather than a description, it animates what is actually there. If a layer already has keyframes, it can extend or adjust them instead of starting over. The animation always targets your active composition.
What you can ask for
Plain language maps onto the standard Transform properties and their timing:

What you get back: real, selectable keyframes on each layer's Transform properties, with editable easing — open the graph editor and reshape any curve.
You can ask in frames or seconds, reference a marker, or anchor timing to other layers. When the brief calls for procedural motion — overshoot that decays, follow-through that keeps reacting — Prism may drive a property with an expression instead of keyframes; keyframes by default, expressions when procedural.
If a keyframe doesn't land: when you name a layer that isn't in the active comp, Prism doesn't guess — it tells you which layer it couldn't find and lists the layers it can see, so you can re-ask with the exact name. If a result still looks off, see troubleshooting.
Everything stays editable
Because Prism writes native objects, the result is indistinguishable from hand-keyed work. Select a keyframe, drag a handle, change an ease — it is your timeline. Each request is a single undo step, and anything destructive is preceded by a restore point — see how Prism works.
